Why Now?
WHY NOW
Africa’s population will double within a generation. This can deliver a demographic dividend or plunge us into deeper chaos. The window to create stable, decent jobs is narrow. At the same time, a new cohort of Africans — online, offline and outspoken — rejects the status quo and is hungry to build. Global events have aligned to make this the decisive decade; delay is a luxury we do not have. This is a make-or-break moment for our continent.
WHY US
Africa’s renaissance is the only problem we see when we look at the world, and we are bold — or naïve — enough to believe we were born to tackle it. We stand on the shoulders of Nkrumah, Sékou, Lumumba, and all who insisted on self-determination. We hold no llegiance to colonial borders; every Black person, at home or abroad, is part of this mission.
